Walter “Del” Marting (Director)
Del Marting has had a work history as a miner, mining executive and mine owner and operator. He is a graduate from Yale (BA) and Harvard (MBA) with an extensive background in mining. He spent a large part of his career as a senior executive for a Fortune 500 mining company. Mr. Marting joined Amax Inc. as an underground mine Production Supervisor at Amax’s Climax Molybdenum property in Climax, Colorado. Mr. Marting spent two years working underground and in Climax’s open pit operation before moving to the Company’s headquarters in Greenwich, CT. In 1982 Mr. Marting was named Vice President — Finance for Amax Europe in Paris, France. Mr. Marting helped build Amax’s global mining presence from its Paris headquarters and had financial oversight of the company’s European and African exploration and development and ore processing activities. He left Amax in 1984 to start his own mining company that undertook the re-opening and operation of the famed 16-1 Mine in Allegheny, CA.
James Greybeck B.Sc.(Geology), M.Sc (Geology) - Chief Geologist
Jim Greybeck is an exploration geologist with thirty-six years of experience in mineral exploration and development projects for precious and base-metal deposits throughout the western U.S. During his career, his geologic work has contributed to three gold mines with over one million ounces of production, including Dee Gold and Marigold (Nevada), and Barney’s Canyon (Utah).
In 1983, Greybeck was hired by John Livermore to join Cordex Exploration Company. He worked as an Exploration Geologist on the Carlin Trend at Dee Gold Mine (Elko Co., Nevada) and advanced to Senior Geologist for Cordex. He served as Exploration Manager for Cordex Exploration’s (Rayrock Mines) Daisy Gold Project near Beatty, Nevada where he moved the Daisy Project from early exploration to production from three open-pit mines. In 1999, after Rayrock’s acquisition by Glamis Gold, he contributed to the exploration program that defined satellite gold deposits at the Marigold Mine in Humboldt County, Nevada. Since 2000, Mr. Greybeck has been a consulting geologist developing and managing gold exploration projects in Nevada. Most recently, this work included management of Columbus Gold's Bolo Project (Nye Co, Nevada) and 3-D GIS modelling of Columbus Gold's Eastside Project (Esmeralda Co., Nevada).
Pavel Dubchak – B.Sc. (Geology), M.Sc. (Geophysics)., P.Geo. - Advisor/Qualified Person
Pavel Dubchak has 25 years experience in all facets of Mineral Deposits Exploration and Development including Geophysics, Geology, Geochemistry and Supervision of Field Operations. He has a P. Geo. professional designation with Qualified Person credentials in compliance with NI-43-101. Since year 2006, Mr. Dubchak has worked internationally in senior management positions as Senior Geologist, Exploration Manager Deputy for intermediate and major mining companies, including subsidiaries of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. / Rio Tinto, Arcelor Mittal. He most recently served as Director of Department for Geological Exploration for JSC Polyus Gold (among the world’s top 10 gold producing companies}, where his duties included the organizational and technical set-up for the development of the Sukhoi Log gold deposit, considered to be one of the world's largest gold deposits.
Robert Casaceli – BA (Geology), MS (Geology)
Mr. Casaceli is a geologist with a career in the mining industry spanning over 42 years and has been involved in every facet of mineral exploration. He is currently a consultant geologist located in Reno, Nevada. Robert was Chief Geologist, and later Chief Consulting Geologist, for Franco-Nevada Corp., the world’s largest royalty acquisition company until the take-over of Newmont by Franco-Nevada. In this period, he also served as President, CEO, and Director of Franc-Or Resources Corporation for over 12 years and has been involved in the design, funding, and implementation of numerous reconnaissance and advanced-stage exploration projects, and prospect/mine evaluations in some 56 countries. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of Latin America Nevada (Subsidiary of Euro-Nevada Mining Corporation) for two years.
Larry McIntosh - B.Sc (Geology)
Mr. McIntosh is the vendor of the East Bell Project and a graduate of the University of Nevada, MacKay School of Mines. He has been a Nevada based geologist and prospector for over 40 years. He worked as a prospector for Cordex for 17 years and is credited with the discovery of the Eastside Deposit which has been the subject of extensive exploration by Columbus Gold Ltd. Larry was the vendor of Eastside to Columbus and holds a royalty interest in the property.
Silver Pursuit considers itself extremely fortunate to have assembled a team of geoscientist with both exceptional global experience and extensive Nevada knowledge with over 30 years experience and a proven track record of successful exploration, resource discovery and mine development.
The company will continue to expand its present portfolio of properties along with the addition of other opportunities presently under consideration. Although the focus on a “Project Generator” business model will continue; the company will also develop more advanced projects without partners.
