S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices - Dominion Diamond Corp.

A Deletion from the S&P/TSX Composite IndexTORONTO, Oct. 30, 2017 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Indices Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:
The shareholders of Dominion Diamond Corp. (TSX:DDC) have approved the terms of an Arrangement Agreement with The Washington Companies whereby the shares of Dominion Diamond will be acquired for $US14.25 cash per share. The shares of Dominion Diamond will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite, Capped Composite and Composite Equal Weight, the S&P/TSX Completion, the S&P/TSX Capped Materials, the S&P/TSX SmallCap, the S&P/TSX Global Mining, the S&P/TSX Composite Momentum, the S&P/TSX Composite Shareholder Yield and the S&P/TSX Composite Buyback Indices prior to the open of trading on Friday, November 3, 2017.
