Knick Exploration Inc.: Drilling Program of 2,000 meters planned on the East-West Property
The Goals:
With this program our goals are:
We aim at Follow the continuity of the mineralisation of the West Zone gold trend over a distance of 400 to 600 meters. The potential is untapped below 200 metres deep and will be drill tested at a 350 meter depth.
Confirm the Marban Orebody Extension within the East-West Property by drilling an untested 200 meters gap located at the western margin of the property and working toward the Knick West Zone.
Expand the continuity of the grades and the width of the West Zone mineralisation.
Target the area of the deeper and most eastward hole related to West Zone, EW-17-20. which hit 0.5 g/t over 34.9 metres, including 6 g/t over 2 metres. Hole EW-17-20 intersected the mineralized structure at a depth of 200 metres. Hole EW-16-06 located 200 metres westward hit 31.5 g/t over 1.3 metres at a vertical depth of around 100 metres.
Produce a first Resource Calculation from surface to a depth of 400 meters if grade and width continuity is reached.
Comments:
As we reviewed the local geology and the Marban Gold Deposit owned by Osisko Mining (OSK), we noticed that gold bearing structures of the deposit are passing through the East-West property.
The Marban deposit was contained mainly on level -900 feet (- 275 meters), approximately 500 meters horizontally by 75 meters vertically. That mineralized zone shape seems to repeat itself toward our western portion of the East-West property.
Between 1961 to 1974 the Marban deposit produced 300,000 ounces of gold.
Knick's upcoming drilling is aimed at proving the pattern of a periodicity on the East-West property. A potential length of 600 meters with a 30 degree eastern plunge could be conformable to the Marban deposit.
