Alopex Gold Inc. Announces Financing Update

TORONTO, April 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alopex Gold Inc. (the "Corporation" or "Alopex")(TSXV:AEX) is pleased to announce its intention to complete a private placement of up to 6,700,000 common shares at a price of $0.45 per share, for gross proceeds to Alopex of approximately $3,000,000, subject to TSX-Venture Exchange and regulatory approvals (the “Offering”). The private placement will be non-brokered, however finders fees may be payable in connection with the Offering. Closing of the Offering is expected to occur on or about April 30, 2018.
The Corporation has withdrawn the preliminary prospectus filed in February with the securities regulatory authorities in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta and will be completing the private placement financing in the alternative.
