Bruin Point Helium Corp. Announces Proposed Name Change

01.05.2018  |  CNW
VANCOUVER, May 1, 2018 - Bruin Point Helium Corp. (the "Company" or "Bruin Point") (TSX Venture: BPX) proposes to change its name to "American Helium Inc." The name change was approved by the board of directors, in accordance with the articles of the Company, and is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

David Sidoo, Chairman says: "Due to the nature of our exploration and development work, we have decided to change the Company name to American Helium Inc.; branding we felt was more indicative of our focus on the North American Helium market.

North America is the leading global consumer of Helium; however, it is also facing supply constraints, directly resulting from a variety of circumstances both domestic and international. We aim to position ourselves as a major producer of Helium in North America and our new name reflects this."

Prospective resources have both an associated chance of discovery and a chance of development. Prospective Resources are further subdivided in accordance with the level of certainty associated with recoverable estimates assuming their discovery and development and may be sub-classified based on project maturity."1 There is no certainty that any portion of the resources will be discovered. If discovered, there is no certainty that it will be commercially viable to produce any portion of the resources. The Low Estimate represents the P90 values from the probabilistic analysis (in other words, the value is greater than or equal to the P90 value 90% of the time), while the Best Estimate represents the P50 and the High Estimate represents the P10.
