Clifton Mining Company - Operations Restart
AMERICAN FORK, May 8, 2018 - Clifton Mining Company has received notice from Desert Hawk Gold Corp that preliminary operations on the Kiewit heap leach have started up again. Said Keith Moeller, VP Property, "It is good to see that Desert Hawk was able to finish the buyout of their primary lender and has now begin startup operations at the production site. We are looking forward to Desert Hawk making it back into full production." Clifton anticipates the resumption of royalty payments in the near term. We will update when more information becomes available. In other news, Clifton's investment in American Silver, LLC continues to move forward with strong sales including the recent addition of products now being distributed through two very large food, drug, and mass store chains. American Silver group of companies has also recently won three new awards which include: Total Health Magazine's "Award of Excellence" and Best of State awards for both "Health and Wellness" and "Medical Manufacturing". If this strong trend in sales continues, we expect a significant increase in distributions.
