Labrador Iron Ore Royalty Corporation Provides an Update on IOC Labour Relations
TORONTO, May 30, 2018 /CNW/ - The Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC) announced yesterday (see attached Media Statement) that the USW Local 9344 in Sept-Îles voted to accept the offer presented by IOC and the union representatives.

IOC is pleased to advise that the members of the USW local 9344 in Sept Iles have concluded voting today and have accepted the latest offer presented by management and union representatives.
IOC believes that the agreement reached is a fair and equitable agreement for all stakeholders.
"We are pleased with the outcome of this new agreement and it highlights what we can accomplish when we work together on solutions," said Clayton Walker, President and CEO, IOC. "As we look ahead to safely returning to work, we will focus on listening to each other more and finding solutions together so that we can continue to build a stronger business for the future."
The recently laid-off employees in Sept-Iles will be recalled to work as early as Wednesday, May 30 2018 in accordance with their regular work schedule and area before lay-off.
