Vancouver, June 5, 2018 - Surge Exploration Inc. (the "Company" or "Surge") (TSX-V: SUR, OTCQB:SURJF) announces that FINRA has approved a change of the Company's stock symbol trading on the OTC Markets. Effective today, the Company's common shares now trade on the OTC Markets under the symbol "SURJF" (OTCQB:SURJF)". The previous trading symbol was CKVLD. The new symbol "SURJF" has been chosen to reflect the Company's continued transformation and strategic direction with a focus on the key energy metals of cobalt, lithium and copper.
