Sunrise Battery Materials Complex Project Update
MELBOURNE, Sept. 30, 2019 - Mr Sam Riggall, Chief Executive Officer of Clean TeQ Holdings Ltd. (Clean TeQ or Company) (ASX/TSX:CLQ; OTCQX:CTEQF), is pleased to provide an update relating to progress at its wholly-owned Sunrise Battery Materials Complex in central New South Wales (Project or Sunrise).
Work is ongoing to position Sunrise as one of the largest and most advanced nickel/cobalt development projects in the world. Progress continues to be made with Front End Engineering and Design (FEED), specifically on hazard and risk assessments in key areas of the plant, procurement (especially tendering on long-lead items) and specialist design sub-contract areas. At the end of September 2019, FEED remains behind schedule. The Company is assessing FEED progress as part of the Project’s execution plan and will update the market in coming weeks, as the work plan and schedule are revised.
