Metallica Metals Closes Private Placement
VANCOUVER, July 08, 2021 - Metallica Metals Corp. (CSE: MM) (OTC: MTALF) (FWB: SY7P) (the "Company" or "Metallica Metals") announces that it has closed a non-brokered private placement (the "Private Placement") of 3,266,666 units of the Company (the "Units") at a price of $0.30 per Unit for gross proceeds of $980,000. Each Unit consists of one (1) common share of the Company (a "Common Share") and one transferable Common Share purchase warrant (each a "Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one (1) additional Common Share for a period of two (2) years from closing at a price of $0.60 per Common Share.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the Private Placement for general ongoing working capital and corporate purposes.
No finder's fees have been paid in connection with the Private Placement. All securities issued are subject to a statutory four month and one day hold period that will expire on November 9, 2021.
