May 4, 2010 The Chief Financial Officer of Northland Resources S.A.(Northland), Ms. Eva Kaijser, has today been granted incentive stock options to
purchase up to 350,000 common shares, exercisable for five years. The option
price is CDN 3.84, based on the average 10 day closing price of the Company's
shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange, plus an additional 25%. After this
transaction, Ms. Kaijser holds 350,000 incentive stock options in Northland.
