Geologix Commences Drilling at Tepal and Libertad Projects in Mexico

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/21/10 -- Geologix Explorations Inc. (TSX: GIX)(FRANKFURT: GF6)(BERLIN: GF6)(MUNICH: GF6)(STUTTGART: GF6) (the 'Company') is pleased announce the commencement of drilling at both the Tepal and Libertad Projects in Mexico.

TEPAL

At the Tepal gold-copper porphyry project in Michoacan State, Mexico, a diamond drill rig has been mobilized to the project and drilling of the first hole commenced Friday, June 18th. This represents the beginning of the previously announced proposed 5,000 metre Phase 1 resource expansion drilling program planned to test multiple highly prospective target areas delineated from a recently completed geophysical survey over the core area of the project. The first drill hole has been collared approximately 300 metres west of the current resource and will continue to test the area surrounding the currently known North and South resource zones. A second drill rig is expected to be mobilized to the property in the coming weeks and will focus on multiple step-out targets delineated 800 to 1,500 metres east of the current resource areas. An additional 5,000 metre Phase 2 program at Tepal is planned, and will be designed based on the Phase 1 results.

LIBERTAD

At the Libertad gold-silver project in Sonora State, Mexico, drilling of a proposed 2,000 metre drilling program commenced on June 17th. Drilling at Libertad will follow up on results from recently completed trenching and geophysical programs. Initial holes will test beneath the trenches to determine the style and character of the mineralization. Additionally, drilling will be targeted at depth to test the zone where geophysical surveys indicate the presence of a geophysical signature that widens to 700 metres at a depth of 125 metres.
