Virgin Metals Announces Appointment of Chris Berlet to Its Board of Directors
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 06/22/10 -- Virgin Metals Inc. (TSX VENTURE: VGM) ('Virgin Metals' or the 'Company) is pleased to announce that Chris Berlet has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company.
Chris Berlet is a graduate of Mining Engineering from Queen's University and holds a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is also a CFA Charter Holder. Mr. Berlet has experience in both the finance and the mineral industries. He spent three years in London, England working in the capital markets group of Banque Paribas and has more recently served as President and CEO of NWM Mining Corporation (TSX VENTURE: NWM). He has worked in underground gold and copper mines in both Canada and Australia, and in open pit coal and nickel mines in Canada and Australia. Chris is a Virgin Metals shareholder of merit with a current holding of some 6,731,539 shares and will be instrumental in assisting with value development for the Los Verdes and Cuatro Hermanos base metals assets.
