Diamond Frank Exploration Obtains 4.3% Zirconium on the Blackrock Property
The sample, which had revealed rare earth values of more than 1%, 0.4% yttrium and more than 1% zirconium (see June 2nd 2010 press release), comes from a biotite gneiss flush zone with a great extension potential on the property.
A request for an intervention permit has been submitted in order to proceed with the stripping of the newly discovered target zone. A grooving and detailed mapping campaign is in the planning phase in order to circumscribe the rare earth, zirconium and yttrium mineralized zone.
Please note that the Blackrock property is located in the Kipawa basin, within the Proterozoic Grenville Province. This basin is comprised of metamorphosed and folded sedimentary sequences that have been intruded by composite intrusive bodies.
