Homeland Announces New Board of Directors and Appoints Chairman of the Board
TORONTO, CANADA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/30/10 -- Homeland Energy Group Ltd. (TSX: HEG) ('Homeland' or the 'Company') wishes to announce that at its Annual General Meeting on June 29, 2010 the following directors were elected: Ashis Basu, Michael Garvey, Neena Gupta, Avrom Howard, Raaj Kumar, Edwin Lee, Jeff Lowe and BVN Rao, with a vote of 151,021,490 shares in favour out of a total 153,809,496 votes cast for a total of 98% in favour of the management slate.
Subsequent to the Annual General Meeting Mr. B.V.N. Rao was re elected Chairman of the Board.
