hosts gold resources to the north and south
BEST INTERSECTIONS INCLUDE:
-- 4.0 m @ 5.30g/t Au at 109-113m
-- 4.0m @ 4.64g/t Au at 80-84m

La Mancha Resources Inc. (TSX: LMA, hereinafter 'La Mancha' or 'the Company') is pleased to report promising drill results from the 100%-owned Kintore project in Western Australia. The new drill results have outlined a strike-continuous zone of gold mineralisation along a 500m segment of the Kunanalling Shear Zone. The Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling was conducted at regular spacings along the shear to follow up on high-grade mineralisation intersected previously. Detailed drilling results are shown in Table 1 at the end of this press release.
The Kintore project is located 30km northwest of the Frog's Leg mine near Kalgoorlie on the prospective Kunanalling Shear Zone (see Figure 1). This shear zone hosts over 0.5M oz of gold resources, including Mick Adams (233,000oz Au) and Burgundy (57,000oz Au).
Dominique Delorme, President and CEO of La Mancha, commented: 'The first step of La Mancha's development in Australia was to get our two known deposits to production. Now that we have successfully started the production of Frog's Leg and White Foil, 2010 marks the start of brown-field exploration on the several other tenements that we own in the Kalgoorlie area. Our 2010 exploration objective for Australia is to identify a new 43-101 qualified gold resource to supplement the existing resource inventory at Frog's Leg and White Foil by year-end. Kintore's good intercepts made public today are a good illustration of the prospectivity of La Mancha's ground holdings and our excellent potential for organic growth.'
The 25 hole RC drilling program completed in April revealed a steeply east-dipping shear zone that trends approximately N-S (See Fig. 2 and Fig. 3a, 3b and 3c). Mineralisation is best developed where the shear zone marks the contact between mafic and ultramafic rocks and a granitic intrusive. Good continuity of the mineralisation along strike revealed by the latest phase of drilling is encouraging and provides confidence that a new gold resource will be generated with additional drilling.
NEXT STEPS
Starting in August, 3,000m meters of additional RC drilling is planned to further evaluate the mineralised shear zone by tightening the current 100m grid spacing to 50m. The objective of this second phase is to provide sufficient data for a 43-101 resource estimate. Some holes will also be drilled to test the continuity of the mineralisation down dip.
LA MANCHA'S INTERESTS IN THE KALGOORLIE AREA
The Kalgoorlie area is in the heart of Western Australia's world renowned Gold Fields. It is the home of Barrick / Newmont's Super Pit, where 72M ounces of gold have been mined to date, and of several other multimillion ounces mining centres such as Mt.Pleasant (5.7Moz Au), Ora Banda (2.8Moz Au) and Kundana (7Moz Au). In addition to its two Australian mines in production, La Mancha has interest in over 120 exploration tenements representing a surface area of approx.260km2 (see figure 1). In 2010, La Mancha's brown-field exploration focus will be mainly towards the Park Dam North, Kintore, Mungari West and Mingari East projects where a total of 15,000 meters of drilling is expected before year-end.
TECHNICAL NOTE
The technical information in this news release was prepared under the supervision of Martin Bennett, B.Sc. (Geol), M.ODG, MAIG, the Qualified Person under NI 43-101. Mr. Bennett is the Exploration Manager and a full-time employee of La Mancha Resources Australia. He has sufficient experience in the style of mineralization and type of deposit to qualify as a Qualified Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101, 'Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects'. Based on his information, Mr. Bennett has consented to the content of this press release in the form and context in which it appears. Mr. Bennett has read National Instrument 43-101 and has ensured that this press release has been written in compliance with that instrument.
The analysis of these recent samples met with all of the Analytical Quality Assurance Program put in place by La Mancha to control and assure the analytical quality of assays in its gold exploration. This program includes the systematic addition of blank samples, pulp duplicates and internal material references ('standards') to each batch of samples sent for analysis. Blank samples are used to check for possible contamination in the laboratory, duplicates allow the overall precision to be quantified and standards determine the analytical accuracy. All samples were generated by splitting a 1m interval of drill cutting from the drill rig to produce a 4-5kg sample for analysis. Samples were assayed at the Genalysis Laboratory in Perth using the LeachWell gold analysis technique (cyanide leach) on a 400g sample. The residue of the LeachWell analysis was analysed by a 50g Fire Assay sample followed by AAS.
