Cloudbreak Resources Ltd. Welcomes New Director
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/28/10 -- Cloudbreak Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: CDB)(PINK SHEETS: CUDBF)(FRANKFURT: C6K) Richard Macey, President, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Peter Bryant to the Company's Board of Directors.
Peter Bryant is a businessman with over 45 years experience in international finance and investment banking. Prior to coming to Canada in 1989 he had served with two of the prestigious merchant banking houses in London, England, the Hill Samuel Group (from 1962 to 1971) and subsequently with the Guinness Peat Group whom he joined in 1972. His work at Hill Samuel took him to England, Spain and South Africa and with the Guinness Group to the Far East where he established and headed up their merchant banking operations. Based out of Singapore from 1973 to 1986 he was responsible for operations in the ASEAN countries.
After leaving the Guinness Peat Group Mr. Bryant worked in an advisory role with a number of companies including the William Hunt Group based in Hong Kong, the Arinfi Group out of London and Zecha Holdings out of Hong Kong. He has held a number of directorships including that of former Chairman of Scott Paper in Singapore. He came to Vancouver, Canada in 1989 as Director of Investment Banking with the Standard Chartered Group with the responsibility of developing technology transfer partnerships between the Bank's Far Eastern clients and North American industrial companies. When the Bank decided to close its operations in North America he branched out on his own and has provided and continues to provide services to a number of publicly listed and private companies.
