Eagle Hill Appoints Jean-Philippe Desrochers as Chief Geologist
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/12/10 -- Eagle Hill Exploration Corporation ('Eagle Hill' or the 'Company') (TSX VENTURE: EAG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Philippe Desrochers, Ph.D, P. Geo. as the Company's chief geologist.
Dr. Desrochers holds a PhD in geology from University of Montreal and has over seventeen years experience in the mineral exploration industry in Canada, Central America and South America. He has been involved with intermediate and junior mining companies with exploration projects ranging from grassroots to mine-scale, on both surface and underground. Dr. Desrochers specializes in the field of structural geology applied to ore deposits in the search for Archean lode gold, volcanogenic massive sulfides, porphyry copper, skarn, and epithermal gold deposits. Dr. Desrochers was the Vice-President of Exploration for Murgor Resources Inc. (MGR: TSX-V) from 2005 through to May of 2010. Past experience also includes senior positions with Aur Resources and SRK Consulting.
While at Murgor Resources Inc., Dr. Desrochers worked on the Windfall Lake Property (the 'Property') since Eagle Hill acquired the Property and planned the extremely successful Winter and Summer 2010 drill programs. His familiarity with the Property will be an asset as the Company moves into its modeling and drill target planning for the winter 2010/2011 drilling program.

In related news the Company's exploration contract with Murgor Resources expired on September 30, 2010 and was not renewed by either party.

The Windfall Lake Property is comprised of 362 contiguous claims (over 12,000 hectares) in the Abitibi mineralized belt of northern Quebec. This area between Val d'Or and Chibougamau is known for its gold and copper production and excellent infrastructure for exploration and mining. Historically, the Windfall Lake Property has had extensive historic grassroots exploration work. Eagle Hill has signed options with Murgor Resources Inc., Freewest Resources Canada Inc., and Noront Resources Inc. to acquire the Windfall Lake Property.
