Cloudbreak Update-Annual General Meeting
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/22/10 -- Cloudbreak Resources Ltd. ('Cloudbreak' or the 'Company') (TSX VENTURE: CDB)(FRANKFURT: C6K) is pleased to announce the results of its 2010 Annual General Meeting, held on October 20, 2010. Messrs. Peter Bryant, Marvin Mitchell, Terrence King and Richard Kosick were elected to the Board of Directors, and Smythe, Ratcliffe LLP was re-appointed as the Company's auditor.
At the post-AGM directors' meeting, Mr. King was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Bryant was re-appointed as President. Mr. King is a principal of the Vancouver law firm Holmes & King, and has a background in corporate finance and securities. He has served as director and/or officer of, and advisor to, numerous public companies. Mr. Kosick is a Certified General Accountant and will sit as an independent director together with Mr. Mitchell, who is a Professional Engineer and principal of Mitchell Geological Services Inc. Mr. Kosick and Mr. Mitchell will sit on the Audit Committee with Mr. Bryant. Ms. Lucy Zhang, who is also a Certified General Accountant, was appointed Chief Financial Officer and will assume day-to-day responsibility for the Company's accounting and administration.
The Company is looking forward to a busy fall season, as it intends to continue to grow both its oil and gold divisions. Further updates will be provided as progress is made on those fronts.
