Adventure Gold Inc. Appoints Michael Williams to the Board of Directors

MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 11/05/10 -- Adventure Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE: AGE) (the 'Company'), is pleased to announce the nomination of Mr. Michael Williams to its Board of Directors effective November 5th, 2010.

Mr. Williams is the President, Director and founder of Full Metal Minerals, a Toronto Stock Exchange Venture Company (TSX: V-FMM). Mr. Williams currently oversees the company's corporate development, strategic and operational planning, marketing, and financing. Mr. Williams has significant contacts with both retail and institutional investors and has an extensive investment banking network. He has been directly involved in the mineral exploration business for the past 15 years and was the Chairman and founder of Underworld Resources Ltd. which was recently purchased for $140 million by Kinross Gold Corporation. Mr. Williams is also a Director of several Canadian publically traded mining exploration companies. He was previously Vice President of Atna Resources Ltd., a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company, where he developed and implemented the company's communication and investor relations programs from 1996 through to 2004. Prior to joining Atna Resources, Mr Williams provided public relations counsel to various sectors including: mining, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, tourism, and government.

The Company has granted 75,000 stock options to Mr Williams. Each option entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the company at a price of $0.39 per share until November 5, 2015.
