Knight Resources Reports Final Assay Results From West Raglan 2010 Program

15.12.2010  |  Marketwire
Vancouver, British Columbia -- (Marketwire) -- 12/14/10 -- Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Knight Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: KNP) (FRANKFURT: KRL), reports final assay results from all drilling completed on the West Raglan Project in 2010 as previously described (see news release dated October 5, 2010). This drilling was focused on investigating nickel, copper and platinum group element (PGE) targets associated with ultramafic rocks. Assay results for nickel, copper and PGEs were largely within background levels for ultramafic rocks.

A different style of mineralization was encountered in diamond drill hole WR-10-189 which intersected 1.70% copper, 3.56% zinc and 0.36g/t gold over 3.2 metres in massive sulphides. This mineralization occurred in basalts approximately 30 metres above the targeted ultramafic unit in the Green Zone located immediately west of the Frontier area. This style of mineralization is indicative of volcanogenic massive sulphides which are known to occur locally within the Cape Smith Belt. This is the first occurrence of copper-zinc-gold mineralization in drilling from the West Raglan property and its potential, if any, is unknown.

The attached Table 1 provides nickel, copper and PGE assay results and the attached Table 2 provides copper, zinc, gold assay results for the 2010 drill program on the West Raglan Project. Further technical data, including maps can be found on the Company's web site at www.Knightresources.ca.
