Ivernia Appoints D'Arcy Doherty as Vice President, Legal & General Counsel
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/15/10 -- Ivernia Inc. ('Ivernia' or the 'Company')(TSX: IVW) is pleased to announce the appointment of D'Arcy Doherty as Vice President, Legal and General Counsel of Ivernia, effective January 4, 2011. Mr. Doherty will be responsible for Ivernia's legal affairs and corporate administration and will provide counsel on commercial agreements, transactions and continuous disclosure requirements.

Most recently, Mr. Doherty was a partner with one of Canada's largest law firms, practicing corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on corporate finance and public company regulatory compliance. He holds a B.A. from McGill University and an LL.B. from the University of Victoria. Mr. Doherty, who will be based in Toronto, is a member of the Ontario bar.
Mr. John Pitcher, General Counsel and Secretary, will be retiring from the Company effective December 31, 2010.
