VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/18/11 -- Bravo Gold Corp. (the 'Company') (TSX VENTURE: BVG)(FRANKFURT: B6I) reports that on January 7, 2011 it acquired, through an amalgamation, 11,147,687 Common shares of Bravada Gold Corporation ('Amalco'). As a result of the amalgamation, the Company owns 17.02% of the issued and outstanding Common shares of Amalco.
The Company's current intentions are that it acquired the 11,147,687 Common shares for investment purposes, but may, from time to time, reconsider its holdings in Amalco and, as circumstances dictate, may increase or decrease its position in Amalco.
