Ian Stalker Joins Forum Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/02/11 -- Forum Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE: FDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of John (Ian) Stalker to the Board of Directors.


Mr. Stalker is an international mining executive with over thirty years of experience in mine development and operations in Europe, Africa and Australia. Mr. Stalker was the Chief Executive Officer of UraMin Inc., a London- and Toronto-listed uranium company from July 2005 until its acquisition by Areva in August 2007 for US$2.5 billion. Mr. Stalker recently held the post of Chief Executive Officer of Berkeley Resources Ltd., an Australian and London- listed uranium company with its main development asset in Spain and remains on the Board as a non- executive director.


Ian has worked his way up from operational roles in the base and precious metals arenas to senior project development and director positions in some of the largest mining companies in the world. Prior to joining UraMin, Mr. Stalker was a Vice President of Gold Fields Ltd., the world's fourth largest gold producer.


Ian is currently CEO of Brazilian Gold Corporation, a Toronto- listed Company with gold exploration and development assets in Brazil and is also a non-executive director of Vatakoula Gold Mines plc, Polo Resources Limited and Elemental Minerals Ltd. Ian holds a B.Sc. in chemical engineering.
