Romios Announces Appointment of New C.F.O.
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 02/16/11 -- Romios Gold Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: RG)(OTCBB: RMIOF)(FRANKFURT: D4R) is pleased to announce that Mr. Michael D'Amico has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
Michael D'Amico holds a B.Com from McMaster University and is a Chartered Accountant. He is a former partner at KPMG and has served as Chief Financial Officer of several companies in various industries including distribution, technology and a publicly traded technology company. Most recently he has been providing Investor Relations and other consulting services to publicly traded mining companies.
Mr. D'Amico replaces Errol Farr as C.F.O. who has resigned to focus his attentions on Adex Mining Inc. where he serves as President. The directors would like to express their appreciation to Mr. Farr for his past service.
