Olympus Receives Trucking Permit Extension

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 03/15/11 -- Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. (TSX: OYM)(OTCBB: OLYMF)(FRANKFURT: OP6)(ASX: OYM) (the 'Company' or 'Olympus')


Olympus has received a trucking permit extension from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment effective March 15, 2011 with support from the Quang Nam People's Committee to treat ore from the Phuoc Son Gold Mine through their Bong Mieu Gold plant until May 30, 2011.The treating of Phuoc Son ore allows the Company to maximize gold production while finalizing the commissioning of its new state of the art gold processing plant located in central Vietnam. Testing of the new plant will be completed this month and fully commissioned in April (See Olympus Press Release dated, February 24, 2011).
