Hunter Bay Minerals Plc Announces Appointment of Advisory Committee

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire - Nov. 2, 2010) - Hunter Bay Minerals Plc ("Hunter Bay Minerals") (TSX VENTURE: HBY) is pleased to announce that it has formed an advisory committee to provide expertise and consultation to Hunter Bay Minerals' Board of Directors in matters related to the Company's business operations and exploration and development of its mineral projects. The initial three members of the advisory committee are Mr Gareth O'Donovan, Mr Carlo Civelli and Mr Stephen F.X. O'Neill, each of whom brings a wealth of experience in the mineral exploration, project financing and corporate legal sectors.Gareth O'Donovan is an Exploration Geologist with over 24 years experience in mining and exploration projects in Africa, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. For the past 7 years Gareth has been Managing Director of SRK Exploration Services Ltd. He specialises in the design, implementation and management of exploration projects from grassroots to pre-feasibility, and project review, competent person's reports, audits and valuations of mineral exploration and mining properties world-wide.
Carlo Civelli is the Managing Director of Clarion Finanz AG, Zurich, a company that has been specialising in financing natural resource companies for the past 30 years. During this period he also served on various boards of natural resources companies and is currently an officer of Callinan Mines Ltd.
Stephen F.X. O'Neill is a member of both the Law Society of British Columbia and the Washington State Bar. During the last 30 years he has advised numerous public companies in both Canada and the United States. His clients are primarily mineral exploration and high technology companies.
