CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire - March 31, 2011) - Tara Gold Resources Corp. (PINKSHEETS: TRGD) (FRANKFURT: T8N) is pleased to announce the details regarding the previously announced distribution of one Tara Minerals Corp. common share for every 20 outstanding shares of Tara Gold. The Ex-Dividend Date is May 18, 2011, the Record Date is May 20, 2011, and the Payment Date is May 27, 2011. Tara Gold currently owns 40,898,190 shares or approximately 71% of Tara Minerals. Additional distributions will be announced over the next 24 months until all Tara Minerals shares, held by Tara Gold, are distributed to Tara Gold shareholders.
