Gold Finder Explorations Ltd. Completes Phase 2 Drill Program
The program consisted of infill drilling targeting the projected extension of the "core" zone historically mined by the Consolidated Mining and Smelting Company of Canada Limited.
Assay results from the first drill hole (GR10-37) have been received and highlights are tabulated below. The lengths reported are drill intersected core lengths and do not represent true widths.
GR10-37 was collared at GR09-29 and was drilled to test the core zone 30m below the mineralization intersected in GR09-29.
Hole Number From (m) To (m) Width (m) Au (g/t)
GR10-37 264.21 265.72 1.51 2.53
including 265.19 265.72 0.53 4.19
288.00 288.34 0.34 48.70
303.47 303.76 0.29 2.25
322.86 323.43 0.57 19.45
331.03 331.40 0.37 4.14
341.20 341.56 0.36 9.73
Additional results will be made available once the assays have been received and approved by GFN's technical staff.
JVX Ltd. has also been contracted to complete a borehole induced polarization and resistivity survey of recently completed drill holes to create a three dimensional model that will be used to generate targets. The survey is expected to be completed within the next two weeks. Results will be used to plan an additional diamond drilling program on the Golden Rose Property in the first quarter of 2011.
