BAAR, May 6 - Katanga Mining Limited (TSX: KAT) (the 'Company') today announced that Jeff Best has been appointed the Chief Operating Officer of the Company.Mr. Best will be based at the Company's mine complex in the Democratic Republic of Congo (the 'DRC'). He has extensive experience in managing operations in the mining sector, particularly in base metals and in the DRC.
