GGG Resources Launches New Branding and Corporate Website

11.05.2011  |  Marketwire

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 05/11/11 -- Western Australian-focused resources company GGG Resources plc (AIM: GGG) has relaunched its corporate website (www.gggresources.com) and unveiled its new gold and green corporate branding.

GGG Resources plc is a publicly quoted mining exploration company which is focused on a single project called Bullabulling in the goldfields of Western Australia. Its shares are traded both on the AIM market under the code GGG and soon on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) under the code GGB. The company has received conditional approval to list on the ASX.

Bullabulling is a former open pit gold mine in the Coolgardie region, which GGG currently owns jointly (50:50) with Auzex Resources Limited.

However, fundamental disagreements over strategy led GGG recently to make an offer to acquire the rest of the shares it does not own in Auzex Resources.

GGG has argued for a larger, accelerated drilling programme while the gold price is high and at near record levels. Auzex, which has other assets to explore, has a different view, seeking also to develop its other more grassroots projects.

To help shareholders understand GGG's offer for Auzex, the new corporate website includes pages especially devoted to the bid at www.gggresources.com/offer-auzex-resources. This includes a letter from GGG Chairman to Auzex's shareholders, the Bidder's Statements, a questions and answers brief, and news releases about the takeover offer.

Commenting on the launch of the new site and rebranding, Jeff Malaihollo, MD of GGG Resources, said:

'Our new website is better laid out, more comprehensive and easier to navigate compared with our previous site. The site is also a very important part of our takeover communications, where shareholders can find out the facts about our company and the reasons why we felt the actions of Auzex Resources left us with no choice but to launch a takeover offer.

We believe shareholders, potential investors and other interested parties will find our new site an important new resource for monitoring GGG's progress towards bringing the Bullabulling gold mine back into production in 2013.'
