Edgewater Exploration Ltd. Announces Douglas Forster as Director

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire - March 29, 2011) - George Salamis, President and CEO of Edgewater Exploration Ltd. (“Edgewater“ or the “Company“) (TSX VENTURE: EDW) (OTCQX: EDWZF), is pleased to announce that Mr. Douglas Forster, M.Sc., P.Geo. has joined the board of directors of Edgewater.Mr. Forster is President and CEO of Featherstone Capital Advisors Inc. and is a director of Calibre Mining Corp. and Pinecrest Resources Ltd. and a former director of Potash One Inc. He has been associated with the mineral exploration and mine development industry for the past 30 years and holds a B.Sc. (1981) and M.Sc.(1984) in economic geology from the University of British Columbia and is a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Mr. Forster has extensive experience in resource project development, mergers and acquisitions, public company management and finance. He has been a founder, senior executive and/or director of numerous publicly traded companies listed on North American stock exchanges and has recently been involved in major project acquisitions for Terrane Metals Corp, Calibre Mining Corp., Avanti Mining Inc., MBAC Fertilizer Corp. and Edgewater Exploration Ltd.
Concurrent with Mr. Forster's appointment Mr. Edward Farrauto has stepped down from the Board of Edgewater. Mr. Farrauto will continue with the Company in his role as Chief Financial Officer.
