Frontline Gold Corp. Adds Darryl Sittler as an Independent Director to Board

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA -- (Marketwire - April 7, 2011) - Frontline Gold Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: FGC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Darryl Sittler to the Company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Sittler is a former National Hockey League player and 1989 inductee to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Mr. Sittler is a self-employed business person in the areas of public relations, community relations and team building. In 2009, Mr. Sittler successfully completed the Institute of Corporate Directors Course and obtained the ICD.D.

Mr. Sittler is a Director of Royal Nickel Corporation and Wallbridge Mining Company Limited, both TSX listed companies. He is also a director of privately held Miocene Metals Ltd and Stay Gold Inc.. Mr. Sittler has served as a member of both the Audit and the Compensation Committees of the companies mentioned. He is also a Director of TeamUP Foundation – Charitable Foundation of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd.

In addition, the Company announces that Colman O'Brien has resigned as a Director of Frontline. The Board of Directors, together with Management, is in the process of a reorganization of the Board of Directors to ensure further Board independence. Details of the reorganization will be announced as and when decisions are made.
