Asian Activities Report for June 10, 2011: Integra Mining Limited Record Gold Production Of 7,909 Ounces In May
Sydney, Australia (ABN Newswire) - Most Asian markets had a positive start this morning. The Australian sharemarket opened higher with S&P/ASX200 index up 0.56% to 4574.9. Nikkei 225 jumped 1.29% to 9,589.63, while Hang Seng Index rose 0.14% to 22641.62. Only the Shanghai sharemarket had a setback with the Shanghai Composite down 0.27% to 2696.13 in the early morning trading.

Integra Mining Limited (ASX: IGR) says today that its flagship Randalls Gold Project in Western Australia has achieved record monthly gold production in May with 7,909 ounces produced. This follows very good production of 7,609 ounces in April. The project is on track to target an annual gold production of 90,000 ounces with low cash cost of A$550 per ounce.
Hastings Rare Metals Limited (ASX: HAS) has commenced a 8000 metre drilling program at the Hastings Rare Metal and Rare Earth Project in Western Australia. The current resource is 22 million tonnes containing rare metals and the heavy rare earth Yttrium. A final revised resource estimation is expected at the end of September 2011. The Project has a potential resource of 50-150 million tonnes.
WPG Resources Limited (ASX: WPG) and Evergreen Energy Inc. (NYSE: EEE) have signed joint venture agreements to develop and produce K-Fuel(R), Evergreen's coal upgrading technology, throughout Australia. The K-Fuel(R) process is capable of achieving a significant increase in calorific value and reduction in greenhouse gases when applied to sub-bituminous and lignite coals.
Golden Rim Resources Limited (ASX: GMR) has commenced the second phase of reverse circulation drilling on its Balogo Project in Burkina Faso. The second phase of drilling will target highest priority mineralisations to follow-up significant copper-gold intercepts encountered in the first phase of drilling. At least a 2.2km copper-gold strike will be tested.
