Absaloka Mine Reaches New Four-Year Labor Agreement
Westmoreland Coal Company (NASDAQ GM: WLB) today announced that a new
collective bargaining agreement has been reached with the represented
employees at Westmoreland Resources Inc.′s Absaloka Mine in Montana. The
new agreement with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local
400 is effective retroactive to June 1, 2011, and will expire May 31,
2015.

Market exchange, is the oldest independent coal company in the United
