Meeting Materials

As a result of the Canadian postal disruption, Inmet wishes to advise its shareholders of alternative ways to vote their shares for the upcoming Meeting.

Copies of the notice of meeting, management information circular and a bilingual form of proxy (the 'Meeting materials') prepared in respect of the Meeting have been mailed to shareholders. Some shareholders may also have received a voting instruction form. If you have not yet received the Meeting materials by mail, you are encouraged to access them under Inmet's profile at www.sedar.com or from the Inmet website. Alternatively, should you not have electronic access to the Meeting materials, our transfer agent, CIBC Mellon Trust Company ('CIBC Mellon'), will courier copies to you free of charge if you request them no later than Tuesday, June 21, 2011 by calling CIBC Mellon at 416.643.5500 or toll-free in North America at 1.800.387.0825.

All proxies and voting instruction forms must be received by CIBC Mellon by 2:30 p.m. (Toronto time) on Thursday, June 23, 2011. If you are voting by telephone or on the Internet, all required information must be entered by 2:30 p.m. (Toronto time) on Thursday, June 23, 2011.

Alternative Voting Instructions

Complete information about voting at the upcoming Meeting is contained in the management information circular for the Meeting. As a result of the Canadian postal disruption, Inmet wishes to remind its registered and beneficial shareholders of alternative ways to vote their shares at the Meeting and encourage them to vote using an alternative to mail.

You are a registered shareholder if you hold paper share certificates registered in your name. You are a beneficial shareholder if your shares are held on your behalf by a broker, bank, trust company, securities dealer or other intermediary. Most shareholders are beneficial shareholders. If you are not sure whether you are a registered or beneficial shareholder, or if you should be using a form of proxy or a voting instruction form, please contact CIBC Mellon at 416.643.5500 or toll-free in North America at 1.800.387.0825 and they will be able to assist.

Registered Shareholders

Registered shareholders who do not intend to attend the Meeting in person can vote their shares in advance of the Meeting. As an alternative to mail, registered shareholders can vote by proxy in one of the following ways:

By telephone (North America) - call 1.866.271.1207 toll-free and follow the instructions. You will need your control number which can be provided to you by CIBC Mellon on request.

On the Internet (worldwide) - go to eproxyvoting.com/inmetmining and follow the instructions on the screen. You will need your control number which can be provided to you by CIBC Mellon request.

By fax (worldwide) - complete the form of proxy, sign and date it and fax it to CIBC Mellon, Attention Proxy Department at 1.416.368.2502. A control number is not needed for this method. Please note that the form of proxy found on SEDAR is not personalized and each registered shareholder must fill in the shareholder's name and address and sign and date the form before submitting it.

By appointing someone to attend the Meeting for you and vote your shares - strike out the two names that are printed in section A of the form of proxy and write the name of the person you are appointing in the space provided. Complete your voting instructions, sign and date the form. The person you appoint does not need to be an Inmet shareholder. A control number is not needed for this method.

Registered shareholders who do not have their control number will need to call CIBC Mellon Trust Company at 416.643.5500 or toll-free in North America at 1.800.387.0825 to obtain a control number to vote online or by telephone. You may be asked certain questions to confirm your status as a shareholder.

Beneficial Shareholders

Beneficial shareholders may have received either a form of proxy or a voting instruction form. Beneficial shareholders should contact their broker or other intermediary directly, as each intermediary has its own form of proxy or voting instruction form return instructions.
