Century Mining Announces Results of Annual and Special Meeting

VAL D'OR, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 06/28/11 -- Century Mining Corporation ('Century Mining' or 'the Company') (TSX VENTURE: CMM) announces the results of its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held today.

At the meeting, the Century Mining shareholders:

--  Elected all of the incumbents, namely Daniel Major, William Sheridan,
    William Lamarque, and Ricardo Campoy, to the Board of Directors;
--  Appointed BDO Canada LLP, Chartered Accountants, as the auditor of the
    Company and authorized the Board of Directors to fix the auditor's
    remuneration; and
--  Re-approved the Company's stock option.

Out of a total of 435,655,651 common shares issued and outstanding that were entitled to vote at the meeting, holders of 292,829,155 common shares, or 67.22%, were present in person or by proxy and voted at the meeting.
