Vancouver, British Columbia, July 14, 2011 - Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (the "Company" or "Rock Tech") (TSX-Venture: RCK; Frankfurt: RJIA) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek ("BNA"), Biinjitiwaabik Zaaging Anishinaabek ("BZA"), and Animbiigoo Zaagi'igan Anishinaabek ("AZA") First Nations (collectively referred to as "First Nations") in regards to the development of the Georgia Lake Lithium project in the Thunder Bay Mining District of northwest Ontario.

These First Nations communities are in close geographical proximity to the Georgia Lake Lithium project, where the Company has been actively engaged in an exploration and development program since 2009. While 100% of the project lies within First Nations' traditional territories, a 2-kilometre stretch of the road accessing the Nama Creek mineral lease is on BNA's reserve land.

In addition to providing the framework for negotiations towards a future Impacts and Benefits Agreement ("IBA"), the MOU will help provide greater certainty, define the benefits to the parties and mitigate any adverse impacts of project development.

After several months of regular consultation, Rock Tech and the First Nations have established a co-operative and respectful relationship for responsible mineral development. The Company and the First Nations intend to continue and broaden this relationship through these negotiations. The IBA will be designed to minimize the negative economic, social and environmental impacts that development of the project may have. Since Rock Tech began exploration in December 2009, several First Nations members have been employed and equipment and material have been procured from the First Nations whenever feasible.

Eunho Lee, President and CEO of Rock Tech, commented "We have already established strong business relationships with the BNA, BZA and AZA leaders and communities and are very pleased to have reached an initial agreement on how we can further build and strengthen these relationships. Fostering these relations is a core element to our business principal of developing sustainable projects that will provide long-term economic viability to the local and regional stakeholders. Furthermore, the members we have hired from the community have proven to be reliable, skilled and versatile, providing considerable encouragement that these communities can continue to be a source of additional human resources, equipment and supplies as we advance the project."

On behalf of the Board of Directors,

"Eunho Lee"

President, CEO and Director
