Dunav Resources Ltd. Announces the Closing of the Acquisition of the Lisa Project in Serbia
LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 08/11/11 -- Dunav Resources Ltd. (the 'Company') (TSX VENTURE: DNV) is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of the Lisa project previously announced in the Company's press release of April 27, 2011. The Lisa project is comprised of four exploration licences known as the Lisa, Kotraza, Kravarica and Dubac licences and covers an area of 320 sq. km within the Tertiary Magmatic Belt of central-southern Serbia. The acquisition was subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange and the Serbian government, both of which have now been received.
Exploration trenching has commenced on the project and is currently testing target areas within the larger (approximately 5 sq. km) gold soil anomaly. Initial 'scout' diamond drilling has also commenced with the intention of testing each of the currently defined five target areas. Additionally, detailed geological mapping is continuing over the project in an attempt to further refine the sedimentary stratigraphy within the 'target' sequence which is composed of calcareous sediments and limestones.
