Arch Coal Named Missouri's Top Employer by ESGR, Earns Second Statewide 2011 Pro Patria Award for Support of National Defense
ST. LOUIS, Aug. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Arch Coal, Inc.
today announced it has been named a 2011 Pro Patria Award Recipient for Missouri, the highest award given to an employer by the Missouri Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the U.S. Department of Defense. The award presentation was made at the state ESGR's awards dinner on Aug. 26.This is the second Pro Patria Award presented to Arch Coal in 2011. Earlier this year, Arch's Mingo Logan Coal Co. and its Mountain Laurel mining complex earned the West Virginia Pro Patria Award.
