Ring of Fire Resources Inc. Adds Malcolm Finlay to its Advisory Board

Toronto, Ontario - August 22, 2011: Ring of Fire Resources Inc. (the "Company" or "ROF") (TSX-V: ROF, FRANKFURT: RG5, OTC.PK: HWKPF) announces that it has added Mr. Malcolm Finlay to its Advisory Board.
Malcolm Finlay:
Malcolm Finlay was president of Finlay Kilgour Investments from the early nineties to approximately 2000. During this period the company represented many junior mining companies and raised millions of dollars. The company was also very successful at assisting in new start-ups, for which they raised substantial funds. From 2000 to 2003 Mr. Finlay was president of Finlay International with liaison contacts in Europe and New York with whom he was very successful in bringing awareness of the companies represented by Finlay International. During this period Mr. Finlay raised tens of millions of dollars and took several companies public. Mr Finlay has been involved directly and indirectly in public companies and in particular mineral exploration companies since the mid 70's.
