ROUYN-NORANDA, 10/17/11 - Pershimco Resources Inc. ('Pershimco' or 'Corporation') (TSX VENTURE: PRO) (FRANKFURT: BIZ) announces that following the exercise of stock options and warrants, Mr. Alain Bureau, President of Pershimco, has increased his personal ownership of common shares in the capital stock of Pershimco by more than 15%, bringing his total participation to over 3.5 million common shares.Concurrently, Sentient Executive GP IV, in its positioning as the Corporation's strategic partner, declares to have consolidated its position, with the support of Pershimco's shareholders, with 20,050,233 common shares or 15.33% of the Corporation's 130,761,681 issued and outstanding common shares as of today.
