Val-d'Or, Quebec, November 4, 2011 - Knick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: KNX) (“Knick Exploration“ or “the Company“) is pleased to announce assay results of greater than 1g/tonne in conjunction with summarized previously reported results from its 2011 and 2009 drill campaigns and mechanical stripping programs on the its East-West Gold Property.
Knicks' wholly-owned East-West Property is located in the Val-d'Or mining camp,. It is situated between the active Kiena Mine (Wesdome Mining Ltd., TSX-WDO) and the past producing Marban Mine (Aurizon Mines Ltd., TSX-ARZ & Niogold Mining Corp., TSX.V-NOX). Eight gold milling facilities which lie along the Trans-Canada Highway are within 35km of the property including Agnico Eagles-Goldex Mill and Richmont Mines-Camflo Mill, 10km west and east of the property respectively.
The 2011 drill campaign concentrated in the area of the Raven and East gold zones as well as their projected extensions.
The 2009 drill campaign was focused on testing, various geophysical targets, the extension of the West gold zone and twining several historical holes within the West gold zone.
Mechanical stripping was localized to the eastern part of the property where prospecting results were favourable and overburden thickness was relatively thin.
The West, Raven and East gold zones lie within Knicks 1.6km strike length of favourable geology. Data processing in conjunction with review and merging of historical information is ongoing.
1) All reported core widths are down hole widths, true widths have yet to be determined.
2) Green highlights indicate previously reported results.
