Ring of Fire Resources Inc. Announces Commencement of Airborne Geophysical Survey - Project 81
TORONTO, Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ring of Fire Resources Inc. (the 'Company' or 'ROF')
announces the mobilization and commencement of approximately 6,400 line kilometres of Helicopter Airborne EM and Mag Survey over parts of its Project 81, Timmins Area, Northern Ontario.Triumph Surveys Inc. of Rockwood, Ontario has been contracted to fly the survey, which is estimated to take approximately 37 days. This survey will be under the direct supervision of Steve Balch (BSc Applied Geophysics), who has been retained to conduct and interpret this airborne survey for the Company. The company will focus on a priority basis on the following:
1. The Lucas Primary Gold Target using a gradiometer magnetic, VLF and
radiometric survey system configuration.
2. The Kingsmill Primary Nickel Target using the ATEM 800 Time Domain EM
system developed by Aerodat Corporation and a GEM System Magnetic unit.
About Project 81
Project 81 is a 60,701 hectare patented land package divided into 2 blocks. The patents include surface, mineral and timber rights, and host a significant timber resource plus a number of zones that have historical exploration identifying nickel and gold mineralization (these sample results are historical and non 43-101 compliant) from work carried out in the 1960's and 1970's some of which have been previously announced.
