Platmin Confirms Final Date of TSX and JSE De-listings and Successful Completion of the Move of Domicile to Guernsey
The Company also confirms that the suspension of its listing on the JSE Limited ('JSE') will occur on December 23, 2011 and the last day for shareholders to trade the Company's shares on the JSE will be December 22, 2011.
The Company also confirms that on December 2, 2011, it filed the previously announced application for registration as a Guernsey company, andthe continuance of its corporate residence from British Columbia, Canada to Guernsey became effective on December 9, 2011.
Following its de-listing from the TSX and the JSE, the Company will still be a reporting issuer in terms of the Ontario Securities Commission ('OSC') (the Province of Ontario being the primary jurisdiction in which the Company reports) and each other jurisdiction in Canada where it has that status. As such, it will remain subject to certain continuous and timely reporting obligations under applicable securities laws, including filing financial statements and material change reports. The Company intends to comply with such obligations to the extent so required.
As previously communicated, the Company has undertaken to The South African Reserve Bank ('SARB') and the JSE to pursue a re-listing of the Company's shares within 12 months or before January 3, 2013.The Company expects the re-listing of its sharesto take placeas soon as the regional consolidation has taken place and the metal production build up is further advanced.
