Dalradian Intersects 8.34m Grading 5.84 g/t Au and 3.2m Grading 5.34 g/t Au in Step-out Drilling Along Strike at Curraghinalt. Additional Parallel Veins Discovered to the South of the Deposit

TORONTO, Sept. 6, 2011 - Dalradian Resources Inc. (“Dalradian“ or the “Company“) (TSX: DNA) continues to extend the known mineralization at its Curraghinalt Deposit in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Results from a 50m step-out on the No. 1 vein include the widest intersection to date on the project comprising several veins over an 8.34m width grading 5.84 g/t Au. A 1000m step-out from the current resource estimate, returned intercepts including 3.2m grading 5.34g/t Au. Drilling to the south of the Crow vein has intersected at least two new vein discoveries, intercepting 1.34 and 1.64m grading 10.74 g/t Au and 6.13 g/t Au respectively. An additional intercept in the footwall of the T17 vein returned 3.71m grading 6.60 g/t Au.

CEO Patrick F. N. Anderson states, “There are six drill rigs on the property, we have five on the Curraghinalt deposit working towards completing an updated resource later this year. These five rigs continue to expand the scope of known mineralization, not only along strike and at depth but by discovering additional veins to the south. Our sixth rig continues to test targets outside of the Curraghinalt trend that were identified in our previously reported prospecting programs“.

T17 Vein

The T17 vein was intersected by three step-out drillholes. Drillhole 11-CT-90 intersected 0.95m grading 33.85 g/t Au approximately 550m below surface. This is a 250m step-out from the eastern edge of the resource and is the second deepest intersection on the T17 vein to date.

11-CT-98 is 200m from the nearest drillhole (11-CT-85; 2.54m @ 20.61 g/t Au) and a 400m step-out from the eastern edge of the present 43-101 resource. 11-CT-98 returned an intercepted width of 1.02m grading 14.05 g/t Au at a depth of 220m below surface.

Drillhole 11-CT-99 is the biggest step-out drilled at the Curraghinalt deposit to date and it intersected a 9.54m wide mineralized zone 1000m east of the present 43-101 resource envelope (550m east of 11-CT-98). This zone is interpreted as the T17 structure and contains intercepted widths of 3.20m grading 5.34 g/t Au and 1.38m grading 5.27 g/t Au approximately 425m below surface. This intersection doubles the known strike length of the T17 from 700m to 1400m, and the vein remains open along strike and to depth.

No. 1 Vein

The No. 1 vein was intersected by two step-out drillholes. Drillhole 11-CT-94 intersected 8.34m grading 5.84 g/t Au approximately 50m outside the resource envelope. This intersection includes a footwall vein intercept of 0.75m grading 45.32 g/t Au and a hanging wall intercept of 0.73m grading 20.43 g/t Au. Drillhole 11-CT-95 is a step-out of approximately 175m from the western margin of the current resource and intersected 0.35m grading 21.52 g/t Au at a depth of 140m below surface. The known strike length of the No. 1 vein has been increased from 800m to approximately 1200m, and the vein remains open along strike and to depth.

106-16 Vein

The 106-16 vein was intersected by two step-out drillholes. 11-CT- 90 is 350m east of the present outlined resource (intercepted width of 0.57m grading 21.02 g/t Au) and represents one of the deepest intercepts on the 106-16 vein at a depth of approximately 670m from surface. Drillhole 11-CT-97b intercepted 1.34m grading 9.37 g/t Au at a depth of approximately 510m from surface, some 250m east of the outlined resource. 11-CT-97b, in conjunction with 11-CT-90 and other drillholes is suggestive of a sub vertical plunging shoot of mineralization.

Mullan Vein

The Mullan vein was intersected by two step-out drillholes. Drillhole 11-CT-90 intersected 0.40m grading 204.80 g/t Au 220m east of, and below the present resource envelope and is the deepest intersection on the Mullan vein to date (440m below surface). The 11-CT-94 intersection on the Mullan is some 50m east of the resource envelope and intersected a 0.09m vein grading 100.48 g/t Au approximately 180m below surface. The vein remains open along strike and to depth.

Sheep Dip Vein

The Sheep Dip vein was intersected by one step-out drillhole. 11-CT-90 intersected 0.35m grading 19.98 g/t Au approximately 220m outside the resource envelope at a depth of 310m below surface. This is one of the deepest intersections on the Sheep Dip and the vein remains open along strike and to depth.

V75

The V75 vein was intersected by one step-out drillhole. 11-CT-97b intersected 2.50m grading 13.55 g/t Au approximately 300m below the resource envelope at a depth of 520m below surface. The vein remains open along strike and to depth.

Bend Vein

The Bend vein was intersected by one step-out drillhole. 11-CT-98 intersected 1.18m grading 6.69 g/t Au at a depth of 430m below surface. This represents the most easterly intersection above the 5 g/t Au over 1m width cut off drilled to date on the 106-16 vein. The vein is open along strike and to depth and is not included in the existing 43-101 resource estimate.

New Veins

Drillhole 11-CT-98 has extended the southerly extent of the known mineralization. Three new veins were intersected in the footwall of the Crow vein at approximately 100m intervals. Results are available for the first two veins. The intercept between 751.14 and 752.48m (1.34m) graded 10.74 g/t Au while the intercept between 844.67 and 846.31m (1.64m) graded 6.13 g/t Au. These intersections demonstrate that the vein swarm at Curraghinalt has a width extent of at least 900m. The current 43-101 resource reports veins in an envelope approximately 400m wide.

Other presently uncorrelated veins in the footwall of the T17 vein include a 3.71m intercept grading 6.60 g/t Au and a 0.5m intercept grading 16.10 g/t Au.
