Geo Minerals Ltd. Acquires Additional Land at West Blackwater

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire - April 11, 2011) - Geo Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: GM) (FRANKFURT: 8G3) ("GEO" or the "Company") reports it has acquired additional land in the vicinity of the 100 per cent owned West Blackwater property located approximately 150 kilometers south of Vanderhoof, B.C.Claim number 835014 comprises 116 hectares and is located approximately 1 kilometer west of Geo's West Blackwater property, separated by a narrow claim block owned by Richfield Ventures Ltd. The Company's West Blackwater property now totals 1,471 hectares.
To acquire 100% of the properties Geo will make cumulative payments of $15,000, issue 300,000 shares and grant a 2% NSR to the vendor. The Company will also spend $50,000 on the claim block during year one.
This transaction is subject to TSX Venture approval.
