Centerra Gold Kumtor Mine Work Stoppage Update
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 02/14/12 -- Centerra Gold Inc. (TSX: CG) reported today that the unionized employees at its Kumtor operation in the Kyrgyz Republic remain on strike. The Company believes this is an illegal strike.
The Kumtor operation is currently suspended except for a minimal amount of mining to manage the pit wall and other essential services. All other mining, processing and exploration work remains suspended.
