2012 Annual General and Special Meeting proposed share consolidation and name change

VANCOUVER, March 9, 2012 /CNW/ - Nanika Resources Inc. (the "Company") (TSXV-NKA and FSE-C7X) announces that it will be holding its 2012 Annual General and Special Meeting of shareholders on Thursday, April 5, 2012. In addition to the regular matters at its annual general meeting, shareholders will be asked to approve by special resolutions:- the proposed consolidation of the share capital of the Company on a 10 old shares for one new share basis;
- the proposed change in the name of the Company from "Nanika Resources Inc." to "Goldbar Resources Inc." or such other name as may agreed upon by the directors of the Company and the TSX Venture Exchange.
