Atlas Iron Limited - Update on Tropical Cyclone Lua
Perth, Australia (ABN Newswire) - Atlas Iron Limited (ASX: AGO) is pleased to advise that its Pardoo and Wodgina DSO mines are back up and in operation following the passing of Tropical Cyclone Lua over the weekend of 16 - 18 March 2012.
Tropical Cyclone Lua passed over Pardoo station approximately 100kms east of Atlas' Pardoo DSO mine. As a result, Atlas' Pardoo DSO mine was not in the direct path of Tropical Cyclone Lua.
Haulage from Atlas' Wodgina DSO mine recommenced on Sunday, 18 March 2012. Subject to no further unexpected rain events, Atlas expects to recommence haulage from its Pardoo DSO mine by Tuesday, 20 March 2012.
